We're back for May. We've got Sam Besant, fresh off a flight from Canada to speak about building games for Virtual Reality and Matt Turner speaking about how he over engineered a joke using AWS, Lambda, and Slack.

A developer from Newcastle who has been working as a Programmer and designer using VR for Futuretown in Vancouver, and mobile games development for ODD in Adelaide. He has worked on Cloudlands Minigolf, A-10, and WhiteOut SkiVR. Best skilled in C# and generally a cool fella."

Sams talk will cover his experiences and learnt principals and challenges of building games for VR.

Matt Turner is an enigma wrapped in a mystery shaded in intrigue. Or more likely we haven't get a bio for him. Unofficially he's a developer at nib where hew works primarily with JavaScript, C# and AWS.

His talk will cover how he used all the buzz words serverless computing with machine learning on the AWS platform to create a joke application to make his colleagues laugh.
