We're back on Wednesday August 2nd with  2 speakers on very different topics. Sean Standen talking about Angular and Jordan Jensen talking about overcoming overthinking.

As always the event is:

  • Free to attend.
  • In the ICT building at the University of Newcastle
  • at 6:00 pm
  • and everyone is welcome to attend.

Don't forget to RSVP to help us plan for numbers.

Jordan is currently raising awareness in the startup and young entrepreneur community of the prevalence and detriments of overthinking, procrastination, self-doubt and reliance on stress-motivated productivity. The talk will provide an understanding of why these traits are so prevalent in young entrepreneurs, how they impact your productivity and enjoyment of being an entrepreneur, and exercises on how to change them (backed by Penn State University research). If you think a greater ability to avoid overthinking, procrastination and self doubt would be useful information, then this talk is for you.

Jordan works with entrepreneurs to train them out of their habit of overthinking, self-doubt and procrastination and into being visionaries who are not only capable of thinking of big ideas, but creating them too.He has a big passion for working with the founders of social & environmental entrepreneurs who care about making a change bigger than themselves.

Since its purchase just over twelve months ago, Homesales.com.au has been undergoing a digital transformation to better compete in the online property classifieds market.

Sean Standen, Homesales lead front end developer, will be talking about the experience of implementing Angular in this real world, high traffic, environment.

We'll have free pizza thanks to BMT Tax Depreciation.
